Marcell Boaventura has said goodbye to Norwegian feed company, Molofeed AS after three years as chief executive officer.

He made the announcement on his LinkedIn page stating that he was responsible for the strategy, execution, and communication with the board and investors. This resulted in a multicultural team and milestones for the business.

“We developed new processes and products, scaled the production in our facility, delivered an R&D aquaculture facility from flat land in Brazil, succeeded in the import/export regulatory environment, achieved brand recognition, delivered against commercial goals, launched new products in the market and met sales targets in Asia and Latin America,” Boaventura said in his post.

Boaventura said the next page in his career isn’t clear yet, but he believes stepping down is timely. He said he’s open for consulting as a freelancer in aquaculture, aqua-feeds, ingredients, and marketing projects.

He thanked the management team, the operational team, contractors and the board. “It was a fantastic and rewarding experience to lead Molofeed, live in Bergen, and interact with brilliant individuals. Thinking about everything we achieved together for Molofeed gives me a sense of fulfilment and joy.”
