As part of Hatchery International’s 2021 Webinar Series, this free ‘Modernizing Your Hatchery’ webinar, which took place on November 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST, focused on the process, outcomes, and benefits of hatchery renovations.
Andrew Hron, NP Operations Supervisor Fisheries at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, spoke about his and his team’s experience of updating their own hatchery. Andrew discussed the renovations that took place at the Kettle Moraine Springs State Fish Hatchery, and gave the audience a closer look at what goes into the design, construction and staff training processes when undergoing major hatchery renovations, as well as what benefits have come from implementing new technologies and systems.
