September 19, 2013 By Quentin Dodd

Migdale Smolt Limited in northern Scotland was awarded the ‘Cutting Carbon Emissions Award ‘ by Carbon Trust Scotland in Edinburgh earlier this year. Migdale is the first producer in Scotland to earn this award given in recognition and appreciation of the organization’s reduction of carbon emissions in line with Scottish Climate Change Legislation. Migdale’s floating pens in fresh water lochs use less energy than some closed containment systems on land.
