AB 809 signed into law to secure California's fish populations

AB 809–a bill to support the long-term monitoring of California’s native salmon and steelhead trout populations– has been signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom.  California Trout (CalTrout) is an organization that helps restore and sustain vibrance and abundance in California's freshwater ecosystems.

IFFO announces new president and vice president

IFFO has announced that they have a new president, Egil Magne Haugstad, and vice-president, Eduardo Goycoolea. The newly elected members of the board will assume their position on Jan. 1, 2024.
