“Moving Jensorter closer to Oregon’s Silicon Forest is in line with our investments in the Jensorter product line,” says J. Curtis Edmondson, who now leads Jensorter. “We still have our great production and service team, led by Curtis Dearing, but we now have a renewed focus on developing the next generation of high capacity sorters.”

Prior to Jensorter, Edmondson, who is an electrical engineer and patent attorney, led an R&D team at Smith-Root to develop their next generation of electrofishers.

“We see high capacity and highly accurate egg sorting as a critical parting of large-scale hatchery operations, and we are developing our new line of equipment to satisfy egg picking that will exceed one million eggs per hour,” said Edmondson while exhibiting at the NWFCC in Portland, Oregon.

Jensorter will be exhibiting next at the 2019 Alaska Fish Culture Conference in Valdez, Alaska.
