Product lines

Rainbow Trout FRESH

Pansize rainbow trout production is expanding world wide. Freshwater fishfarmers are expanding their production of 250 – 450 g rainbow trout to keep up with a growing consumers demand for this delicious and healthy product. AquaSearch ova is supplying the quality egg and genetics to do so in less time with the lowest possible feed consumption. All female material is recommended to have the flexibility of increasing the production time or slaughter weight if required.

Rainbow Trout   SALT

Large rainbow trout of 2,5 kg and more, with well pigmented flesh and attractive silvery exterior has become an ever more popular alternative to the atlantic salmon, and with higher temperature tolerance, specific disease resistance, no risk of maturing males and general feasibility of husbandry AquaSearch ova have dedicated a product line for the particular requirements of all female rainbow trout production in saltwater.

Rainbow Trout LATE

The production of large rainbow trout in freshwater may require more than two winter periods without the setback of maturation. AquaSearch ova is offering all female offspring from 4 or 5 year old maturing brood stock to meet this requirement.

Rainbow Trout TRIPLOID

For the production of very large, sterile (never maturing) rainbow trout in salt or freshwater triploid, eggs are offered. These fish will continue to grow tough out their lifecycle without the characteristics and setback of maturation, allowing the fishfarmer to produce (almost) whatever size of fish he desires.

Rainbow Trout ORGANIC

Niche production for the market of organic products, has become increasingly lucrative for individual fish farmers in certain countries, and AquaSearch ova is offering mixed sex eggs for this production.
